作者简介 查尔斯 ‧奥曼，英国著名军事史学家，皇家历史协会主席，牛津大学“奇切历”现代史教授，皇家考古研究所所长，皇家钱币学协会奖章得主。他的著作改变了人们对中世纪战争的理解，完善并改正了中世纪史料中碎片化的军事史及其种种谬误。一般认为，他通过中世纪残破的文献，重新构建起了中世纪战场的蓝图。其研究成果在欧洲军事史上有着重要的地位。 译者简介 齐建晓，副教授，河南师范大学外国语学院翻译硕士导师，研究方向为英汉翻译理论与实践、计算机辅助翻译。科研方面，出版专著、教材、译著共五部，在《西安外国学大学学报》《河南师范大学学报》《新闻与写作》等国内核心刊物上发表了十余篇翻译与外语教学方面的论文，主持和参与省部级以上科研项目八项。
